We support our community.
Join Us In Making A Difference
Since 1928, The Accel Group has served the needs of Eastern Iowans. We are grateful for our loyal customers and proud of the communities in which we do business. We wanted a unique way to show our appreciation and make a long-lasting impact.
The Accel Foundation is dedicated to providing community support to individuals and organizations by offering volunteer and financial assistance, to help improve the quality of life in the areas we serve.
This phrase is based on the idea that the positive actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects. It is important that the The Accel Foundation be an active, supportive organization for growth and caring. Our hope is to start a positive ripple right here in eastern Iowa.
Do you know an eastern Iowa family or organization who would benefit from financial help from The Accel Foundation? Each year, we choose a family or organization to benefit from our Run the Ripple 5K event and families to receive gifts through our Adopt-a-Family Christmas program. Help us find this year’s recipients by telling us the story of your deserving friends, neighbors or favorite organization. Provide information about their unique situation, their level of financial need and how our support can make a difference.
The Accel Foundation supports local families in need as well as nonprofit organizations that promote positive change and growth in eastern Iowa. Turn to us with your requests for funds, volunteers, or material goods.
If your family needs financial support following a life-changing situation, ask The Accel Foundation for assistance.
Request help for specific community programs or services. We may be able to offer support by donations, holding a materials goods drive, supplying volunteers, etc.
The Accel Foundation coordinates monthly volunteer opportunities for The Accel Group employees to give back to our community. From meals for the HD Youth Center to hold a stuffed animal drive for Waypoint, we offer food, funds and our time and talent to make a positive impact on the lives of our fellow eastern Iowans. Contact us for available volunteer opportunities.
Add an attention-drawing incentive to your organization’s next golf tournament with The Accel Foundation’s Hole-In-One Golf Program. You pick a hole on the course and we’ll award $1,000 to the first person to hit a hole-in-one on that hole during your event. We’ll provide a sign for you to place at the tee of the designated hole.

- Acknowledge the Accel Group in your outing literature, brochure and/or program
- Pick up the sign at the Accel Group and return it the day after your event
